Update: August 22
Nickel found loving foster parents, and is scheduled to have eye surgery on August 24. Thanks to everyone who helped save Nickel!
Nickel's Story:
On the same day she was scheduled to be put down (August 10), Nickel found a home, thanks to Ginger's Pet Rescue! Here is her story:
My Name is Nickel and I am a 7 month old stray and I received no medical care when I needed it badly. I am a female Golden Retriever & Border Collie Mix.
I desperately need a home or I will get put down next week. I am on treatment for mange but it's not contagious.
I also have a bacterial infection of the eye and will need an entropian eye surgery. My eyelids turn inward against my eye causing irritation and blocks my eye sight. Hopefully Ginger will help fundraise with her big network to cover my surgery expense. PLEASE HELP SAVE ME.
I am a very sweet and very loving dog.
