Yet another example of a dog's love outlasting a man's. Then-fiancé NiklasNiklaus Soderblom gave Nicollette Sheridan, Oliver, as a puppy for her birthday on November 21, 2004. When the couple broke off their engagement on October 26, 2005, the platinum pup ("He even looks like me," Sheridan has remarked) assumed the status of No. 1 man in the Desperate Housewives star's life. That is, until she rekindled her romance with former flame, Michael Bolton, in November 2005. Sheridan and Bolton have since broken off their engagement on August 26, 2008.
Nicollette's other dog, Fatty Princess, is 12 years old. Her dog, Geronimo, a briad, selected Fatty as "his girl" in 1999 on a visit to the local dog pound. Geronimo passed away in 2004.
