Physical Description and Size



The Norfolk Terrier generally stands about 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 10 to 12 pounds. It is compact, short and stocky, with short legs. This dog also features whiskers, eyebrows, and a slight mane around the neck and on the chest. The ears are the most obvious difference between this breed and the Norwhich Terrier. The Norfolk has small drop ears with rounded tips.

Temperament

This dog is a active, small dog. Independent, but also happy to be with people. Does well with children and is tolerant of other pets. Also a natural digger, so be wary in the yard!
