Oprah, Have you ever considered a show about adoption for dogs? My husband and I adopted a retired racing greyhound in Feb,, 2004 and it was the best thing we ever did. Atlas became our furry kid and led a very happy life until his sudden death in Nov. 2007. Retired Greyhounds as Pets ( REGAP ), is a non-profit organization that takes in these hounds when the breeder no longer wants them for racing. Many breeders do not bother with this and simply kill them. If possible, we would like to see a show that discusses the topic of adopting dogs other than puppies from a pet store.
