Oski the Labrador

Oski is a sweet, lazy three-year-old Labrador Retriever. His greatest passion in life is to fetch tennis balls, with eating coming in at a close second. He's smallish for a lab (62 lbs) and was born outside of London, England. He has since lost his British accent, as he now lives in Oakland, CA.

My lab is almost 4 months old and torments my 3 year old german shepard, sending him to the vet twice with wounds from Harley's teeth. When will he settle down? Also he has some white on his chest...could he be a mixed breed or do some labs have this happen?

What is that Oski has in his mouth, a pine cone? Does he normally go for the "natural" toys or does he have some manufactured favorites?

few years back i was having a dog named Ronie who passed 11 years wonderfully with us and two years ago he died and after his death my family was in shock and then we have decided that we will not keep dog but one of my friend gifted me a 1 month old lab which i decided to return after 2 days since he was out of town and coming back after but in those two days we got so attached with that puppy that we could not leave and now he is almost 1 yr. old strong dog who always guard my house and makes us happy by his naughty behaviour.
But the only thing i suggest that if u r about to keep a dog as a pet then u must be prepared for their care bcoz they needs extensive care , proper attention , and good diet. keeping a pet is easy but carying is difficult .

I never wanted a dog. I was a cat person. A wonderful Lab was left tied to my gate one morning two years ago now, During the extensive search for the [now former] owner, this sweet loving clown touched our hearts and he of corse lives with us still. I have found that with proper food and skin care the shedding problem is no worse than a cat.

I've known Oski and his owners for a while. I can vouch for Oski - he's great! In fact, when I met him I thought that he was such a great dog that I should get a labrador too. But all the shedding of labradors made me decide not to.
