Our Brindle
Our dog's name: Brindle (AKA Brindle Bugg)

Hometown: Hyde Park, NY
How we met: A family from our church's nursery school had a litter, and when they offered to bring all four to our home to visit, our boys jumped at the chance. Brindle made himself at home, and it was no contest. The breeders called him "the brindle" to distinguish him from his black-and-white siblings, and the boys loved the name. Sometimes we just call him "Bugg".
What makes my dog special: Brindle is our family's first pet (if you don't count a few short-lived goldfish), and he has stolen our hearts, not to mention a lot of others. One friend met him and said, "I have to have one!" She went to the breeder that same day and bought Brindle's sister. I bring him to visit the children at the nursery school (I'm the pastor of the church) on a regular basis, and the children love him. So do the volunteers in the church office. He brings a lot of joy to so many people.
My dog's likes/dislikes: LIKES: licking, eating, licking, playing chase, licking, sleeping, licking, pooping, licking, chewing our shoes, romping in the snow (for about 5 minutes), licking, lots of people(!), licking, going to the vet (surprisingly), licking...
DISLIKES: Not licking. Brindle doesn't care for being brushed or being left alone.
Easter 08 Update: Brindle is now seven months old and is taking puppy behavior classes. He's the smallest member of the class and gets so excited around the other dogs. He's finally learning how to obey commands even with the other dogs jumping around. Good dog, Brindle!
Brindle would love to hear from other Buggs! Leave a note.
