Pete the Yorkie
Name: Pete the Yorkie
Breed: Yorkshire Terrier
Born: We got Pete when he was four monthes old. His owner needed to find him a good home, because she was moving and could not take him with her
About his owners: Our family lives on two acres in the Pacific Northwest were all of our dogs get to play to there hearts content! We all love to spoil and baby the "kids" and let them get away with somethings... like sleeping in the laundry basket!
Why Fido: My dad always wanted a Yorkie so we purchased him. He is papered AKC and had a really great pedigree. He is also big for a yorkie now-a-days which we liked too.
What Fido likes: A picture speaks a thousand words! Pete loves to go outside and dig, and he has his own dog yard to do that in. His best bud is Blue because they grew up together. They are both about 6 years old now.
Other dogs: Mike, Blue, Fred, and Barney. Check out there pages too!

My name is Stephanie Beener and I am the writer for a new blog site and business on Small and Toy dogs that is to be introduced to the web sometime this fall entitled “Darling Pooch.” I am currently working on my Yorkie e-Book and I am in the process of gathering stories for our "Humor Me" section. People are trying to breed them so small now. Pete is about 11-12 pounds. Lol he is big, the world's smallest dog IS a yorkie!

Ok, too funny--your yorkie looks like a "Pete!" You say he's a little on the big side for a yorkie--how big is he?
