My darling female poochon (born 10-26-06) still isn't housebroken. I stay at home and I'm using a crate too. She poops and pees in her crate w/o whining etc... and she isn't even in there very long. I take her outside and then put her in the crate when I'm sleeping or gone. Any suggestions? I feel like giving her up. I'm exhausted.

Taking him/her out every couple of hours as it was suggested above is how we got Odie on the right track. To be honest, I think it has a lot to do with the socialization he got earlier on. We insisted the breeder keep him until he was at least 9 weeks old so that he would learn from his mom. He went outside from the day we got him home. 2 months later it only took us just under a week to train him to ring a bell (hangs from handle) when he needs to go. Brilliant!!
