Poppy was named after the California Poppy flower because we lived in California at the time and, in her youth, she was a coppery orange color. She has moved with us to Nashville, to Boston and she now lives with us in Melbourne, Australia. Poppy has mixed feeling about Australia because there are no squirrels to chase in the whole country.

She is a sweet old girl now that loves to be tucked into one of her many beds for long snooze.
