Add links to local, state, or national organizations devoted to rescuing this breed:

  1. Seattle Pug Rescue helps regional pugs get much needed medical care and finds homes for needy pugs. Their annual fundraiser, the Seattle Pug Gala is a real blast!
  2. Pug Dog Club of America
  3. Southern Nevada Pug Rescue We are a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of Pugs in need. Our mission is to rescue neglected, homeless, unwanted, sick or injured Pugs, rehabilitate them and place them in loving, permanent homes in the Southern Nevada area. We strive to educate the public about the Pug dog breed, to encourage responsible pet ownership, and to see to it that any Pug that comes through our rescue ends up in a caring, committed environment.
  4. Ohio Pug Rescue is a not for profit, all volunteer organization that works in the state of Ohio. We take in any and all pugs regardless of age and health and find them loving forever homes. It is a great organization, like all rescues and kudos to those that donate their time to these ever so loving animals who only want to love someone as much as they possibly can for the rest of their lives. Their main goal in life is to please us and hopefully with education to the public the public will begin to realize the importance of shelters and being responsible in having their animals spayed or neutered to avoid even more homeless animals. Gizmo's Story

One fall day when my son was working as a delivery trucker. He spotted this poor pug tied to the porch of an abandoned house. He asked around but everyone he talked to told him the same thing her owner had abandoned and left her tied there. He then contacted the animal shelter and while talking to the shelter they told him if he wanted to bring the pug home he could. When my son braught Gizmo home we took her to the vet and she was underweight. We got her taken care of with all her shots and found out she was a fullblooded pug. Now she has a very good home with us and she is very spoiled. She has caught up on all her weight. Gizmo is very good around people except for when you say the word bye. She doesnt want you to leave she is scared you might not come back. She is good with other dogs mostly just wants to play. She loves to sit on peoples laps because she feels more comfortable and it lets her know that we are not going anywhere.

P.S Help on trying to find papers for her.

Sincerely,
Lillian Piazza
