Very active. Loves to take long walks. Always ready to play. Very attentive when you talk to her. So cute she is hard to discipline.

Puggles, for the most part, do not have the same health concerns as Pugs. They breath much more freely b/c of the extended snout and can carry babies much easier.

Since Puggles are a mix of a Beagle and a Pug checkout this right on honest site regarding both breeds.
Michelle Welton's Your Purebreed Puppy http://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com Please read thoroughly about both breeds. Puggles are a mix between the two so expect the strengths and weaknesses to be common to most Puggles as a result. Beagle Review: http://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/reviews/beagles.html If you want a dog who... Is conveniently small, yet sturdy and athletic Is completely natural in appearance Has a short easy-care coat Loves exercise and outdoor activities Is good-natured with people and other animals A Beagle may be right for you. If you don't want to deal with... An extremely careful search to avoid all the neurotic Beagles Slowness to learn and an independent "what's in it for me?" attitude toward training -- can be very stubborn Running away, oblivious to your calls, when an interesting scent catches his attention Slowness to housebreak Baying and howling Shedding A distinctive houndy odor Chronic health problems A Beagle may not be right for you. Pugs next post.

Moderator Request --
A better venue for discussing the relative merits or demerits of breeding two or more breeds to produce a puppy or a rescue here: Home > Dog Breeds > Mixed Breeds > Designer Dog Controversy http://www.wikifido.com/page/Designer+Dog+Controversy Thank you for this consideration. Please keep the discussion in consideration of treating people and their dogs as you wish you and your dogs to be treated. Pat D. |
