All I can say is… Bravo to you Hope! Your training sessions have had an enormous effect on me and, of course, little Molly. Raising a puppy is no easy task. You and your dog training skills have made the formation of our "new" family an extremely rewarding experience. We all knew Molly was a bright puppy, but you brought her "smarts" to the surface and allowed us to reap all the benefits of a well-trained puppy. Not only is she learning to be a well-rounded little dog, but each and every day we learn more and more from her! It truly is a team effort and all the players are loving it. Molly has so much fun on her training days, and from the look on your face when she "shows off", youÌre having a good time too! As you know, running a dog rescue and adoption group exposes me to numerous behavioral issues with all breeds of dogs. One of the biggest obstacles in our adoption process is finding adopters willing to overlook some of the "baggage" that our rescue dogs may have. Many of these animals have been neglected and abused. Some of them become timid, while others mistrust humans all-together. Just knowing that you are there with all your knowledge and patience gives me, the new adopters, and the dogs confidence, comfort, and of course…hope.

I have worked with Hope Cogen of High Hopes Dog Training for three years, both personally with my own dogs and professionally with our rescue dogs. I have found her training methods both effective and compassionate. She is able to clearly identify the training issues and apply her knowledge and experience to each situation. Rather than the "one solution fits all" approach I've encountered with previous trainers, Hope tailors the process for each dog and each unique family dynamic. I never hesitate to recommend Hope or call her personally when a training issue arises, be it getting a puppy settled and trained in a new home or dealing with older rescue dogs that often come with behavioral problems from the lack of training or abuse they've encountered in their previous homes.

Hope has made such a difference in my life with her fantastic ability to train dogs. I had two dogs that were running the show. I had very little control and was at my wit's end. Right after the first lesson, I felt so much happier. Hope had so many excellent suggestions to solve the problems I was having with my older dog. He was a rescue and had been badly abused. He is very stubborn and untrusting. Within a short time with Hope he responded, and before I know it, he was following her lead and learning new tricks. We have all learned so much and are so much happier. Hope really changed our lives and I can't thank her enough.
