Name: Sable
Breed: Sable is probably a Labrador/Pit Bull mixmix.
Born: We found Sable at a rescue called the Second Chance Ranch in Issaquah, WA. She had had an early litter of puppies,puppies and when they were taken from her, she apparently grew so despondent that her owners were considering putting her to sleep!
About Sable's family: Sable has a great family, including a gorgeous five-year-old human sister named Maxine, who is silly and funny and loves Sable very much.
Why Sable? Sable was the only dog out of the 15 or so at the rescue who ran up to us.us The- the choice was clear.
What Sable likes: She loves her family, walks in the neighborhood,neighborhood and snoozing in the sunshine. She recently discovered the joys of a Fudgesicle (don't worry -- it was a one-time treat!). Sable is a bit uncertain around dogs she doesn't know, but she is uniformly sweet and calm around people and children. Her one-year-old friend Tommy sure thinks she's the best thing going!
