I met my good friend Laura Christiansen, owner of Canine Learning Centers, in 1993 by attending one of her classes. We've been friends ever since. Here is some info I got from her website.

In Business since 1992; Puppy Kindergarten, Obedience Classes, In-home Behavior & Nutrition Training - Instructors are CPDT Certified. Training Director/Owner Laura Christiansen; Laura has been working with animals and people for over 20 years. She began as an apprentice instructor/ behavioral counselor at Trainers Academy for Behavioral Sciences in Michigan. Laura taught at the academy for over 5 years before coming out to San Diego to start her own dog training school, Canine Learning Centers. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the International Association of Canine Professionals. Laura is very familiar with pet nutrition, has a background in elementary education and taught a dog safety program for children at local schools. She is also the Canine Evaluator for the Pet Therapy Program at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla.
