Corona Heights dog runThis space is great as it has a pretty large fenced in area where your dogs can go off leash. Weekends are best as the pet owners are with their dogs. During the week, many dog walkers take their packs up there, which can be frenetic at times. |
Alta Plaza ParkThe north end of this park is an off-leash area. The park has great views of the bay and the city skyline and the first Sunday of every month is "Pug Day." When the weather is good, more than 50 pugs have been known to romp. |
Fort FunstonSkyline Blvd./Hwy 35. This is a large park with lots of off-leash space and good access to the beach. Lots of dogs around. |

Golden Gate National Recreation AreaThis park has 76,500 acres of land and water. Lots of great walks, but your dog has to stay on his leash. |
