SWAT is a volunteer organization that relies on temporary foster homes rather than a standard shelter for the housing of strays and surrendered companion animals. SWAT'sgoal is to find permanent homes for stray and surrendered companion animals, to prevent the surrender of companion animals to high kill shelters and to provide affordable sterilized pets for the community.
