How we met: I was looking for a new dog after having three dogs, two fosters, one was still looking for a home at the time, and a rescue put down for aggression. I am a sucker for herding dogs and that is what I looked for. My mother and I found a nice breed (mini aussies) found a great breeder, and one night decided to head up to Cave Junction, Oregon with our 50 pound foster dog Struth to go get the last puppy the breeder had. We had decided just to go for a look but 48 hours later we were on our way home with our 12 week old puppy.
What makes my dog special: Everyone is Schmitz's best friend!
My dog's likes/dislikes: Schmitz loves treats, people, tennis balls, shoes, playing tug, batting at our cat PJ, fetch, running, eating flies, herding Great Danes
and his rubber chicken
He hates the fourth of July/ new year ( because of the fireworks) and going home from the dog park.
