King of the dog parks - it's incredible! Follow signs on last exit of 520 East. This is an amazing park for dogs. It features 40 acres of off-leash area. It's always got lots and lots of other dogs and dog owners to meet, especially on weekends, and plenty of water to play in too. |
There is a small off-leash area up the hill from the beach. It is quite small, but still always bustles with dogs. |
This park has a small off-leash area. Located in Woodland Park by the Zoo and Green Lake. |
Genesee Park (near Mount Bakier / Rainier / Columbia City)Genessee Park has a great medium-large (2.5 acre) dirt/gravel off-leash area. You can usually find 5-10 other dogs and dog owners here at any given time. (official link) |
There's a new small off-leash area that just recently went in here nestled between the I-5 freeway and the shops of Capitol Hill. Let's call it "intimate" for its small size. But it's cute and urban and convenient! (official link) |
Magnuson Park (Sand Point)This is the "other" King of the Dog Parks of the Seattle area, only this one is more convenient than Redmond for people who live in Seattle. It's got a huge huge huge off-leash area, Seattle's only dog beach, plenty of parking, and lots and lots of dogs and people. It's located in Magnuson Park, which is a huge area of parkland in addition to this great off-leash park. (official link) |
Madrona ParkThis is a great park with a cupcake place across the street! There is a nice grassy area to play soccer while the dogs run. The best part is the cupcake bakery on the corner. |
