Seattle's Pug Gala 2006: Year of the Pug

On May 13, at Maguson Park in Seattle, the area's biggest fund raising event, the Seattle Pug Gala was a huge success with an enormous turnout of pugs! Well over 1,000 pugs arrived at the event, with an estimated 2,300 of "their people" in tow. The spectacular event raised over $15,000 to help rescue pugs in need of homes and medical care.

Pug lovers, notorious for being fanatical about their flat-faced, snorting companions, turned out from all areas, with costumes galore!
