Consult your vet if you notice any of the following changes in your dog's health:
Weight loss or loss of appetite
Vomiting
Sneezing, coughing, wheezing
Runny nose or eyes
Excessive thirst or urination
Excessive licking or scratching
Diarrhea
Change in behavior, such as lethargy and depression
Consider pet insurance for sickly dogs or for breeds that have a tendency towards chronic illness. Most pet insurance policies cover only catastrophic illness, however, so be sure to read the fine print before signing on the dotted line.
