I would love to see photos of what the Shelties from the Shetland Islands look like today. I owned a Shetland Sheepdog for 13 years, he was the love of my life. The breeder I got my dog from breeds them smaller than most I have seen and they have a certain look to them that I have not seen in other Shelties on website pages. They are bred on a farm and have retained strong herding instincts also as well as being smaller than most I see.
