About 5 months ago my Grandmother passed away and she loved animals particularly small dogs. I too shared her love of small dogs but never took the time to find one to adopt. I also knew it was a great responsibility, so I let desire subside. After my Grandmothers passing I got the urge to finally adopt a dog, but since I live in an apartment I knew I needed to find a small breed that didn't bark too much, and of course a rescue. After previewing small dogs on petfinder.com and actually meeting a couple I was still at a loss for finding my match. That is until I did an advanced search. It came to me that I wanted to name my new dog Sunny, after my Grandama Sunday. I went on to petfinder and in their advance search I added Sunny to the section that says dogs name. Low and behold the exact breed the chiweenie came up along with the fist photo on this page and my heart melted. I called the contact lady right away
