About Tai Chi: Tai Chi was our first pug and was 1.5 when we got him. I always wanted a pug b/c they are so cute and after reading about them loved everything I read except that they shed a lot which I am not used to. So was unsure. Tai Chi was advertised in the paper so I decided to go and meet him as "practice" since I'd never adopted a dog before. I took my friend who fosters golden retrievers and is my dog "expert". Seems as though he was being studded however since they were keeping two his daughters and the mom felt the need to get rid of Tai - knowing the reasons they gave us and knowing the real reason. I just wondered how they could just get rid of him....but am SO glad they did. I fell in love with Tai Chi and my friend concurred he was a great dog. My boyfriend met him the next day and we took the little man (well big for a pug weighing in at 30 pounds but all muscle) home. It was a rough go at first but after a few weeks he adjusted well to our home and our schedule and has been spoiled rotten ever since. Tai Chi has a strong alpha personality and keeps others in line and lets them know he is king of this house...well, under me of course, but will forever be my little man. We thought Tai Chi might like a friend to keep him company when we were gone...

About Boo Boo: enter Boo Boo. Just becoming a member of Ohio Pug Rescue we applied to adopt another pug. At the time they didn't have a black pug (which we requested) so we offered to foster. At that time Boo Boo came into rescue being rescued by an OPR member from living in a home with 30 others dogs and being studded into our home as a foster. We are proud to announce that we became foster failures after falling for this little guy. For living in a cage most of his life and getting no love he is the most loving and affectionate dog I've ever met with the spunk and energy of many puppies combined. He was 2 when we got him. Boo Boo is the ham of our family. Always wanting to give kisses and steal the attention. Always dishing out the play and then not wanting it once he gets the others going.

About PJ: We were asked to pick up a surrender in our are and of course once finding out he was a black pug (am partial to black) offered to foster him. And again became failures once more. PJ was our second foster who came to us at the age of 3 knowing a life of living in a cage or being kept in the garage or chained outside. His hair had worn from around his neck with sores from being kept on a choker collar b/c according to his owners he was to strong for anything else and kept breaking free - he is a 22 pound pug. He had no hair on his entire underside with flaky, dry, black, itchy skin b/c according to his owners he has always been like this neglecting to tell us that they just never took the time to find out why he was like this. PJ was our most challenging of the three as far as getting his personality to show. He was very scared and shy. We had to carry him outside and then back again inside each time after catching him. He didn't do steps. He quietly sat in his cage without a peep. He however quickly adjusted to our family, learned to trust us and his brothers and is now mom's little baby. He is still scared of men and shows his "protective" side with his vicious bark - right. His favorite spot is laying on my chest and if one of brothers is in his spot he gently moves them out of it by snuggling right in. His only goal in life is to make me happy. Oh yeah and to lick Boo Boo's ears and hump him constantly. LOL. Brotherly love - what can you do.

What I like most: When Boo Boo hides under the bed and PJ triesd to find him as Boo Boo shows his paw teasing PJ only to make PJ bark. When Boo Boo drools all over the floor while waiting for his food. When I can hear them pass gas (yes I hear it and it happens often). When Tai Chi gives me those sad big eyes wondering why I am leaving him home with Dad. When we snuggle up for bed and they circle and circle and circle till they are so close they are practically laying on me and I can't move the blankets at all or roll over. When Boo Boo or PJ lays his head on my arm so that I can feel their breath on my face. When I have to turn the volume up on the television as we relax on the couch because my little guys are snoring louder than humans. When they play chasing around the dining room table running around like little maniacs. When I have to wipe up a puddle off the floor from them drinking. When I sit on the couch and have to find/make room for all of them on my lap. When I get home and they are so excited to see me and my face lights up just to see them.

I'm guessing that you'd be just the person for this question! I'm always looking for pug clothes...In fact, Zoey loves to wear them and when I say "dress" she comes running to put hers on. I really like them because they're cute, and I've also figured out that it helps out a lot with the shedding around the house...

But, it's darn hard to find clothes that fit pugs right, since their bodies are short and their shoulders are broad. Where do you get your cute clothes? I love the fall sweaters and the soccer outfits (what a kick! ;) ) In particular, I'm hunting for sweaters...any hints?

Thanks for adding the pictures--I love em! I've just got one pug and the snoring and puddle after drinking water is amazing--I can't imagine what it must be like with three of them! Do they sleep near you at night?
