Enjoy over 35 restored homes and shops, as well as costumed people who will demonstrate how the inhabitants lived during this time period. |

Learn about Toronto's history and architecture plus hear stories and get tips about the culture. There are many tours to choose from and they are normally held on the weekends. Tours are approximately 2 hours long. The cost is $12 Canadian per adult and free for children under 12 years old and pets. Reservations are required. Call 416-966-1550 between 8am and 10pm to reserve a space. |
Great Lakes Schooner CompanyQueen's Quay Toronto Take a Toronto boat tour onboard a large schooner (sailboat). Your well-behaved, leashed dog is allowed on the tours. Enjoy great views of Toronto's skyline from the water. Tours run from June to September and are about 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the tour. The cost is just under $20 per adult and less for children and seniors. Dogs ride for free. The tours depart off Queen's Quay, between Rees Street and Lower Simcoe Street. |
Toronto Islands Park - Toronto416-392-8186 Map These islands, located less than 10 minutes from downtown via ferries, have over 600 park acres with walking paths. Dogs on leash are allowed on the islands. Centre Island is home to the dog-friendly Centreville amusement park (no dogs on rides). The only way to the islands is via the ferries. Ferry prices for adults are about $5 per person, less for children and free for dogs. |
Dog ParkHigh Park -1873 Bloor Street Toronto Dogs can run leash-free at the open area located west of the Dream Site and the allotment Gardens, and northeast of the Grenadier Restaurant. The dog park area is open 24 hours a day, except for 6pm to 10pm during stage productions at the Dream Site. The park is located at Bloor Street and Parkside Drive. |
