Miss Molly's Story

We just brought Walker Coonhound home yesterday to tell you the truth i didn't know wjat kind of hound she was until today when i looked at the paper work from the animal shelter. You see i love hound dogs and we unfortanetly lost our blue tick mix on april 1st with out him our house just isn't the same. So we decided on going to look for another dog and when we got to the animal shelter i just fell in love with her ears and just that hound dog look in her eyes, those remind me alot of Shy, she came from a shelter in another town that would have killed her. She has a wonderful temperment just loves my kids. Though sadly somebody wasn't very nice to her she is missing the toes on a back paw and on a front paw has a pretty severe cut on one of her pads. It looks as though she was tied up by her leg because she has a scar that goes all the way around her back leg, and she's about 10-15 pounds under weight. We discovered she doesn't have very good manners when it comes to dinner time, she seemed to think she could eat off our plates, but just one day later she has already improved after we sat down for dinner she went and laid down and behaved until dinner was over. She just loves to be loved she puts her head in our laps and next thing you know she's falling down because she's sleeping. Any ways She is a wonderful addition to our family though she will naver take the place of our last dog, she will hold a piece of my heart just the same size as she has. -- Anonymous, 4/14/2007
