Best parks/walks:

• John Hendry Park, or Trout Lake, as it is known, in East Vancouver boasts a great off-leash dog area. Dogs can run in the fields and romp in the lake. Only the North side is designated as off-leash so those walking around the lake must leash their dogs for part of the walk.
• Pacific Spirit Regional Park - Off-leash area on the UBC Endowment Lands. Park Centre located at 4915 W. 16th Avenue about 400 metres west of Blanca Street.
• Stanley Park & Sea Wall, crowning jewel of Vancouver's densely-populated West End, brimming with people-watching, gorgeous sea and mountain views, open fields, forested trails (great olfactory experience for dogs!)
