Peace Pups Dog Sledding located in Lake Elmore, Vermont is a source for a wide range of dog powered activities. We offer dog scooter lessons when there is no snow as well as wheeled dogsled rides in the fall and spring. Once snow flies we offer dogsled rides and skijor lessons. Our lessons provide a opportunity for you to see if you your dog has what it takes to join you in a dog powered activity. You don't have to have a husky to enjoy scootering or skijoring. Many dogs love to run and find these activities to be fun. If your dog pulls your arm off when you try to walk him or her they are probably a good candidate for pulling. Rather than spending hours trying to get Spot to heal; why not go with the flow and let him run? As as side benefit it will get you out more and you'll both be healthier for it.
Don't have a dog but just want to spend some time with a pack of Siberians? Come out for a visit and join our Siberian Huskies in their play yard. Our sled dogs are very well socialized and are always very excited to meet new people. They just love the attention and I only have two hands to pet with so try as I might I just can't satisfy all of their desire to be petted. We offer slide shows on dog sledding and a short history of our kennel. No matter the reason for your visit for you're sure to learn something new about dogs.
Feel free to contact me in regard to any dog powered sports activity questions you might have and I will do my best to help you out. I make most of my own gear from sleds to carts and happy to share any resources.
