Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas

This purebred rescue program is based in the Dallas area of Texas, but has foster homes in several cities including San Antonio, Houston, and Austin. At any given time there can be 50 or more Weimaraners in need of adoption. Most of the dogs rescued are placed in foster homes, but when the census is high (as it usually is), rescuers are forced to keep some dogs in a shelter enviroment.

There is an application, vet check, and adoption fee involved if interested in adopting one of these Weims. Although WRNT is based in Dallas, adoptions are pursued from all over the state, as well as closely neighboring areas.
