What type of breed is this dog? - Dogs & Dog Rescue
My dog's name was: Maggie Link

My dog was born on: Unknown. We rescued her from "no-kill" shelter in West Virginia on August 17, 2006. She was only 18 lbs. She had severe bilateral ear infections, kennel cough and hookworms. She had the lowest protein the vet had ever seen. He was extremely doubtful that she would make it. We knew she would because we were going to give her everything we had and she was a little survivor. Over the course of 4-5 months she gained 10 lbs. The vet again, said he had never seen anything like it. She was now overweight. That was okay with us though. She eventually needed to be spayed due to an infection in her uterus. She provided us with nothing but joy and happiness and lots of licks and tailwagging until we were on vacation in Puerto Rico we got the dreaded phone call. Maggie passed away at the kennel. We have never kennelled our dogs ever- this is the first time. The guilt and trauma has been overwhelming for all of us -including our Bichon who was in the kennel with her. The kennel is performing an autopsy to determine the cause of death since she seemed so healthy going in. Now, we are just trying to find out exactly what kind of dog she was and to maybe locate one of her puppies since she was obviously used for breeding.

The breed of my dog was: Cocker Spaniel mixed with ???????

My dog was special because: She was so loving, affectionate, loyal, protective, always happy and cheerful, patient and just happy to be with her family

Things I'll never forget about my dog:dog:How soft her little head was, her little tail and how it would wag back and forth all the time, how her body would propel uncontrollably when she was so happy to see us, how absolutely beautiful she was.
