Hello, I'm researching the Coolie breed (if it is an actual breed) and trying to find out some information on the breed, because I'm looking for a dog breed that doesn't have millions of health problems. And can you tell me why some are called Coolies that have a 5+ generation, but then some are also called a Coolie when they are a cross? Are you a breeder? Can you tell me how your Coolie gets along with other dogs, cats, kids, adults, or other animals? Are they easy or hard to train? Are they normally hard headed or soft? Are they intense or clowns? I keep asking breeders, but none are willing to help me.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much for the new photos and the update on Huck! I really look forward to hearing about this tiny hero that has such a big future ahead. Have to say, he doesn't quite look that tiny anymore! Keep it coming!

Hey Yatahae! Long time, no hear! You still out there? Been looking to hear more about the SAR dogs that we talked about...I finally started a few pages on Dog Jobs and a page for SAR, with Huck's photo in there. It's quite basic right now, but I have high hopes that you'll jump in and add away! I would love to see more about Lorrie's dogs and her org... Any chance you have some time to jump on in?
Hope all is well! DG

Just saw that Seeker has a new name...do you want me to change the name of this page, or leave it as "Seeker"?

I just visited Jarrah's page. I have to tell you, these are the prettiest puppies that i've ever seen. This breed has some unique colors and their eye color is just beautiful. Thank you for the work you do with the Search & Rescue, that is so commendable for you to give up your time for such a worthy cause. I'll be sending a donation to the Foundation.

Wow! That is so amazing! This just sends chills up my spine! Little Seeker is going on to do some big, big things! This is really the first time I've heard from somebody with direct experience with these SAR teams... Would love to hear more, and if you get updates (and photos) of Seeker as he (is that right?) goes through training and such, would love to hear about his adventures also...
So, how did Lorrie happen to select Seeker? Do you know what types of dogs are typically used for SAR? Is this something typical for a Coolie?
