Mibby is a German Coolie. She has a wonderful personality and temperament. Mibby is used as a driving dog to help load trailers, push livestock down alley-ways into holding areas and out into pasture. Mibby is an intricate part of every-day feeding when it comes to holding the stock off the bunk feeders until the feed can be poured. She is also an excellent "track dog" (used to exercise show stock). She is an intense working dog with lots of natural ability and desire. Mibby is a full litter-mate sister to Yatahae Shotgun Akili. Akili makes her home in Canada with Avalon Coolies where
she is used as a "demo" dog under the direction of Shawn Murray. Shawn says Akili is easy-going, extremely biddable and is pleasant to be around. Akili has been started herding on sheep.
Yatahae wishes Avalon continued success with Akili, as well as with all of her Coolies.

Hello, I'm researching the Coolie breed (if it is an actual breed) and trying to find out some information on the breed, because I'm looking for a dog breed that doesn't have millions of health problems. And can you tell me why some are called Coolies that have a 5+ generation, but then some are also called a Coolie when they are a cross? I assume you are a breeder? Can you tell me how your Coolie gets along with other dogs, cats, kids, adults, or other animals? Are they easy or hard to train? Are they normally hard headed or soft? Are they intense or clowns? I keep asking breeders, but none are willing to help me.
Thanks in advance!
