OneWhat's so great about a Basenji: A Basenji is not like a normal dog, they are on their own agenda, they will not be obedient like a lab, you will not be able to trust a Basenji off leash. Basenji's are cat like lastbut thing:do Addnot tagsnormally like cats. They also need to be crated while you are out because they tend to be destructive when left alone.
