ZuchonThis is a featured page

A Zuchon, also known as a "Teddy Bear" or "Shih chon", is a Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu mix. They are hypoallergenic but require regular, specialized grooming. Zuchons are easy to train, and friendly. Zuchons also have a great coat that doesn't shed and comes in many different colors-just like a shih tzu. Zuchons also have a care free and fun personality. They also want to spend every moment with their owner, and is NOT a breed that should be left home all day while you're at work. Take your Zuchon with you whenever possible. The dog will charm everyone it meets, and both you and the dog will enjoy spending time together. The Zuchon is one of the most popular mixed breeds available today. The average weight of a Zuchon is 7 - 12 pounds (3.17 - 5.44 kg). The lifespan of a Zuchon is approximately 15 years. The color of a Zuchon is usually several different colors mixed into 1 coat. While this Shih Tzu mixed breed is not an officially recognized as its own dog breed, the American Canine Hybrid Club does recognize it.
