cross breeds - Dogs & Dog Rescuethese are my two cross breeds, well the red one (Coyote) may be a full stumpy tail but who knows. the Blue/black one (Hamish) is a mix of Border collie and heeler, the mix makes them big, he's about 30kgs.
his girlfriend weights in at just 16kgs.
Both come from our local RSPCA
We live in town but they love going bush and riding in the back of the ute, heelers are very protective of their owners property and they keep the house and ute safe.
they are full of energy and need to be worn out on a daily basis, walks or games everyday without fail, they are a clever pair who will dream up ways to burn enery if I dont. if I want washing to stay on the line then they need me to play games with them. teaching them new tricks keeps their doggie minds happy.
Hamish is more food motivated than Coyote and it makes it easy to teach him tricks, he can jump thru hoops or over beams, roll over in both directions, wave with his paw, spin around on command, play dead, crawl on his belly, run thru my legs on command, shake with both paws, bark on command two different barks and play hide and seek with a toy.
Both Dogs play ball and frizzbe fetch & butt the ballon in the air with their nose. Coyote excells at these games espesially the ballon game, she can keep a ballon up for ten minutes.
