I have been looking at adopting a Lab./Pit mix. I just found out today that he had Pit Bull in him. I want to adopt, saving an animals life is more important than holding a registration that I will never have a need for. I have a vast amount of experience in training German Shepherds and have no fear of taking on a needy dog. I am, however, afraid of the Pit Bull aspect. The dog we are looking at is WONDERFUL!!! My daughter played with him and he was great! He needs obedience training but has potential. M y fear is that down the road he will "snap". We also have 2 cats, he was cat tested and he passed with flying colors. We also have a horse who is boarded at a nearby stable, he will go there VERY often. Does anyone have any advice or an opinion on a Lab/Pit mis????
