UNDERGROUND PET FENCING BY DOG GUARD OF IL.
I recommend this type of fencing, but the dog has to be trained to know it;s there-all of these services provide training for you and your dog. ask and make sure. The only downside is that a dog can throw enough dirt on the wire to block the signal, if it's digging.A large dog does throw dirt farther behind it and to the sides. I had a neighbor drive over to tell that Stonewall visited her thatm morn. I took the collar ut and found the dead zone. I put the collar on him and took him over and he avoided that place again. A few nights later the electric went out-my dogs stayed in their yard. If you don't train your dog it will be scared or run so fast that it passes over the wire. I don't have problems and can do yard work with the gate open.
