police beat and shot my dog neighbors say they took it too far
my dog was beat a shot becuse our dog catcher is afraid of pitbulls.xena, my dog. Got out of the fence and ran barking at a neighbor who moved in 3days befor. she did not bite them but they call animal patrol to put her backin the yard.they tride treats when she kept barking at the police and the dog catcher lady. they started hitting her with the night stick,pointig the tazer at her.this is all happening in our driveway.when the officer would take a step back she would go forword to him. animal patrol told him if xena dose do that agein just shoot her.i have testamonys from all my neighbor including the ones who called animal patrol saying that what they did was cruel,inhuman,unethical and excessive force.she was never violent.Iv got statements from everyone who has ever been in contact with xena they all say she was never any harm to them or the kids that always played with her. everyone has loved her. she was no harm to anyone.the police will not let us have a copy of the police report and are giving us the runaround.Xena cant talk and im not the onlyone who knows what happend and thinks it was wrong.I dont know if you can help me but i want to tell you what happend to Xena and let you know Xena was just like Daddy(from dog whisperer). just alittle hyper at times and what happend to her did not need to happen.they didnt even tell us we came home and wore looking for her. it took them half an hour to call us back and all they said was "oh we shot her she attact me and i shot her.she was a threat to the naghborhood." Well no she wasnt a threat to anyone. She never bit or touch anyone.not then,not ever i cant sleep,cant,eat my other animals arnt the same eather.we are suffering.she was our baby just like melechi and stinks. please read this and thank you. As for Designer Dogs
Good point-if people didn't buy from designer dog puppy mills and backyard breeders that think of the mother as a puppy machine-people would stop this. I rescued a pit bull spayed her and took care of many other health problems. A year later-it seemed that a man followed me home. That night 3 cars of felons and gang bangers knocked on my door. They said that they just got out of prison. They wanted the dog back-when they found out that she was spayed-they lost interest-in this state they would've had to re-imburse me for food and vet care-I still cry thinking of the pitt-chained up, having litter after litter-She had arthuritis from abuse-bone chips. With the weight of pregnancy-she couldn't have gotten up. We took her to the vet again, because she had trouble getting up and began limping on both front legs and went on supevised weight reduction. I've raised this point-as you are doing-that buying a dog from a puppy mill contributes to the problem. It's completely wrong to equate this to a rescue-A rescue is where the dog is in a shelter-is being abused-or a stray where you can't find the owner- My pit rescue-padlocked and chained in 100+ heat had eye, ear, skin and respiratory infections from dehydration. Another wiki member saw people using a chained Great Dane for target practice and took the dog home. Being able to refer to police, animal control or a livestock inspector does a lot in getting a dog out of trouble. My 2 hounds were scheduled 2 be put down at 6am-March 20. 2008 We broke the speed limit for 100 miles one way-to get them-gas was $5/per/gal. They didn't tell us the hounds were scheduled because they wanted the hounds 2 B with people that really wanted them. I'd been looking for a hound 4 over a year.
