MYSTERY BREED! Help!
Hi All! Wondering if any dog savvy individuals would like to play a guessing game?? I adopted a boxer mix from the Nashville Humane in July. At 9 weeks she was (according to their sign) just 7 pounds...the smallest of her litter. She had a relatively long face (compared to full bred boxer pups) and biiiig floppy ears. We (and her first vet) thought boxer/beagle was a pretty good guess. The first vet guessed she would be in the 30-40 pound range, not all that much bigger than a beagle. The second vet she saw concurred. She is now 8 months, 55 lbs, and 25" at the withers. Her face has elongated even more. She's got a loooong, powerful tail. We are beginning to wonder if she might be mixed with great dane, because her growth rate has been tremendous (about 25 pounds at 5 months to 55 pounds at 8 months...I think that's pretty fast, anyway!). Her movements are very dane like, judging by youtube videos I've seen in my research. Here is a link to some recent photos of her....what do you all think??

 Corona and my beagle Remi
Corona is the black dog she is the chiweenie. Remi is my beagle who is almost a year old and was the runt and only weighs 5.4 lbs. She is one of the smallest beagles my vet has ever seen.

I couldn't find a rescue that suited me and was still available when I got to it, so I placed an add on craigslist describing my self and a general description of the type of dog I was looking for and was contacted by a rescue group here in Nashville concerning this little sweetie. I have heart condition and need exercise but lack motivation on my own, Ruby provides that. She's happy to go for a walk anytime, but equally happy to cuddle all day long if I don't feel up to it. Tried for month's to figure out her "ethnicity" until I happened across a photo of a greagle. I hadn't heard of them, but ironically had initially said that she looked like someone had bred a beagle and an it. greyhound. All I knew of her background was that she had been used as a brood bitch until her hair was even falling out. She didn't know how to play or even what a toy was. I've had her spayed and given her lots of love and happy to say she has turned out to be a wonderful companion, and an extremely accomplished bedhog, Westy41

Italian Greagle
We got a stray from the pound which we believe is a Beagle / Italian Greyhound mix. She is over 1 year old we believe and is full grown at 13 pounds. She looks a lot like the brown and white Greagle posted by someone else here. Our girl has a mini beagle face and tail while the body is all Italian Greyhound. Does not bark alot. Nice disposition. Boy can she run like the wind so we called her 'Turbo'. I will try and post some pics.
