I wish that you had a franchise here
It's amazing. It just confirms how wrong things are here. Our dog parks here are on freeways with low fences. Owners sit on their rears and talk. Long-furred dogs get ulcers and stuff-there are lots of severe dog maulings-loose dogs meander in the parking lots. Even with private lessons-the trainers won't adapt for breed or situation. I have hounds. Trainers get upset that I'll tell one to "Leave it", when it starts scenting during a lesson. They'd say, "You're too nervous, it's not looking." they got mad because I refused to poison proof Missy-teach her not to eat from me unless I gave her a secret word. Hell, she won't take nothing from anybody when she's on a leash-not even from me. A bunch of new neighbors moved in-teased my hounds by shaking their toy dogs in front of the bay window to hear mine bay and get jollies. or whatever. Then they complained the hounds were aggressive. A friend with rottweilers recommended that I get a certificate, so I can say that I took them-what have those people done with their dogs? Missy really took exception about the caged garden snakes-last lesson-for Stonewall they brought the snakes out on the third and our last lesson. My hounds sit-whatever-nobody thinks that we should have some fun while learning. They get mad because I use a coupler to walk the dogs- I have one hand that's a mess- If they think there's danger, the female is fartherest from me and the male is next to me. When they feel relaxed they change. They walk on a loose leash but don't quite follow-it's a breed thing. I'm by their flank. They learned to sit and yield to wheelchairs, bikers, skateboarders, etc. The male sits in the rear and the female in the front, while people pass us. I just make sure that their extra long tails don't get run over. They were feral and I've had them for almost 2 years.

Polls-Cesar or Victoria- 3 Now working
Please go to the box on the left side of your monitor and scroll down to Polls. There are 3 fun & working polls on the "Dog Whisperer" , Cesar Milan or Victoria Stilwell of "it's Me or the Dog" . I will be adding another poll or two in a week or so. I want to thank the members that have helped me by giving me feedback on the poll contents and checking to see if the polls were working properly.
