Here's a link to a Treeing Walker Coonhound at a high-kill shelter in my area (central KY) that needs to be rescued. In this area, they're usually dumped because they "won't hunt" and are rarely adopted. Please help and forward if you can:

I have rescued what I am told is a Walker Hound and I would love to find a GOOD home for her. I found her on the highway pitifully starved. She is about a year old and has not yet been spayed. She is definitely a hunting dog: I have guineas which run loose on my farm and she just climbs the fence to try and get them! She is sweet and loveable and really needs a home. If anyone wants her reply to pdavis@pc.edu. Do you find this valuable?
