Doggie bath time made SUPER easy!!!
Apr 9 2008, 5:41 PM EDT Hi everyone, I had to tell you guys about the best investment I've ever made in bathing my dog... the elevated doggie bath!!! You get to bathe the dog at your level, there's a leash restraint so they can't get out, nonstick pad (no slipping), drainage, a nice fan nozzle, shampoo holder... it's awesome. Totally saves your back since there's no more bending over! They even have a shower product that hooks up to your washer to give your dog a warm water bath. Apr 11 2008, 4:43 PM EDT That sounds really cool! I have to say though, what's really worked for me and my dog is showering together! It used to be my family and I would wash her in the kitchen sink when she was a small puppy, but then we'd give her baths in the tub. She's a Wheaten Terrier with lots of dirty fur, so that means she's standing in dirty water for awhile and it's hard to bathe a dog that way. She hated it. It was always a process, even in the sink. But I've found that by showering with her, it takes less time to wash both of us, she's not standing in dirty water, we get good quality time together, it takes less time to wash both of us together then separately, and she jumps right in the bathtub now all by herself! It's like now that she sees I do the same thing to myself she's ok with it. It's actually a lot of fun. But yes, it does include a lot of bending over, though I usually take turns, you know, do my hair then her back, part of me, part of her. Oddly enough, it works. Unless you've got back problems, then this elevated tub sounds just perfect! If I hadn't discovered showering with my dog, I would totally get one! 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

I love how it is so easy to wash my dogs and I dont have to be hunched over for a long period of time. Thanks for recommending the Booster Bath. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
