Heart Worm Treatment
Jul 24 2008, 9:48 PM EDT We have recently taken in Banjo, the sweeteest Rat Terrier EVER. We found out that he had heartworms last week when I took him to update his shots. So he started the heartworm treatment which on top of being very expensive, is very hard. I heard from someone that it was comparable chemo for humans. So today was dose one of treatment, tomorrow is #2 but I am very worried. He is so sluggish and tired. And any one who has a terrier of any kind, knows that is not normal! Has anyone been through this treatment? What should I expect? Do you find this valuable? |
