Chiweenies are very cute little dogs, but because of the Daschund in them, they are prone to have back problems, especially if they are long. You may think that your chiweenie being overweight is o.k. but it really puts strain and pressure on the dog's back. This can lead to back problems, such as a curveture of your chiweenie's spine, and other awful problems. Make sure your chiweenie has a healthy diet and eats only as much as it needs. Limit treats to once a week so that your dog does not become overweight. Remember: Obesity in chiweenies WILL HURT THEIR SPINE!!!! 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
