NAID tips

NAID's can be a bit different than most dogs. This is because they have quite a bit of wolf blood. My father used to raise wolves, so maybe i can give some advise to the potential NAID owner. Ideally, YOU should be the first thing the new pup experiences, even it this means bottle feeding the pup as soon as it's born. This is to imprint it from birth that you are the Alpha. Alternitavely, you should put in a surrogate mother of a more easygoing breed, like a collie, and visit it as much as you can. Seeing as how most of you are buying them at around 8 weeks old, they'll already have someone else imprinted in thier minds. Spend as much time as you can with them while their young and make sure they know who's boss, and making sure that they respect and trust you, and don't fear you. NAID's don't respond too well to harsh admonishions. Be gentle and be patient and soon you'll have another loveable, albeit fuzzy, member of the family.

I hope this helps!!
