Jul 23 2006, 1:29 AM EDT yes, i know how that is, every time your dog jumps on your guess or yourself you have to hit him on his chest real hard with your knee as he jumps, they don't like this, it hurts, you have to be consistent with this method, it work for my all my dogs! good luck! 1 out of 4 found this valuable. Jul 23 2006, 10:26 PM EDT This is a very common problem with puppies--you are not alone! When dogs jump up, they are looking for attention, so the best thing to do, is to not give them any attention. Check out the page called "Jumping up on People" under Dog Training for some more specific tips.
