Check out Dogtipper.com for a book review of the new book, Fit As Fido: Follow Your Dog to Better Health, posted at www.dogtipper.com/products/2009/06/fit-as-fido-by-dawn-marcus-md.html.

Here's a snippet of the review: "When we first picked up Fit as Fido, a book by neurologist and professor Dawn A. Marcus, we were a little worried...would this guide be too fitness-oriented for two middle-aged writers to keep up with? Or maybe too scientific for us to comprehend?

We need not have worried. This 127-page book is a fun, easy-to-follow book that provides suggestions on, as its subtitle says, ways you can follow your dog's lead to better health. The author, who is a consultant for Del Monte's "Power of Paws" program, has broken down some of the best habits of the canine world--from exercise to attitudes--and used them as examples for ways humans can adjust to lead happier, healthier lives."
