Barking at Neighbors

We used to live on a nice corner lot where my dog could freely bark and not bother anybody. We recently moved to the middle of a street and now have neighbors on both sides. Whenever Zoey hears anybody in their yard, she does her watchdog duty and starts to bark. This is probably really bugging the neighbors--does anybody have any tips on how to stop this barking, short of a bark collar? Thanks!
