LIBERTY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL – HINESVILLE, GEORGIA EUTHANASIA DATE: Any Day due to Over Crowding – Tiny Facility SPONSORSHIPS APPRECIATED!!! TRANSPORT TO ATLANTA AVAILABLE!!! If you would like more information about one of the animals below, please contact jen.ellis88@yahoo.com or newbeginningsanimalrescue@gmail.com We have personally interacted with each one of these dogs. Our descriptions are straight forward! Our conscience would not allow ud to hold anything back, and we would never give false information to save an animal, because it would only result in it being returned. You will never find vicious/dangerous animals on our listings! Usually, little or none is known about these dogs' medical history. It is a sad fact that a majority of them were abandoned by military families, which means they are most likely up-to-date on their shots, heartworm negative, and generally healthy; however, we cannot guarantee that, which is why each dog must receive prompt veterinary care after adoption/rescue takes place. Spaying or neutering by 6 months of age is a MUST!!! Unless the dogs go to a rescue or out of state adopters a spay/neuter voucher must be purchased from us. You can get more detailed information and pricing by visiting SNAC (Spay/Neuter Alliance Clinic) at www.snac1.com or by calling 843-645-2500. Your help with adopting, rescuing, or fostering these dogs is immensely appreciated, as is your help with cross posting to others who may be able to help save a life. dogs posted in my next post Do you find this valuable?

Here is a blog link. where you can see pics of some of the animals. Petra or Jen can send you more pics. This is a military town and alot of the animals are left behind when people leave to go on active duty. Thanks for your interest. http://itsrainingcatsdogsglixman.blogspot.com/2009/08/august-11-2009liberty-county-animal.html Do you find this valuable? |

Thanks for this great effort-so many people think that hounds are a plague. So many of the stray dogs in the South and -Ohio areas are hounds and feist dogs. My 2 were kept for the 2 weeks as required by state law. They had an adoption window of 6 hours, as the head of pound had arranged for them to be killed 6 am of their second day after they were able to be adopted. One of the workers insisted on posting the hounds on Oodle and petfinder. I almost didn't check, as I'd been hunting for over a year. Also I usually checked late at night. We were told to get there before 3 pm. We broke the speed limit and drove about 100 miles one way to GET A HOUND. We came back with both of them. The police said that they probably kept me from being raped and my family from being injured or worse, when I found a bedroll and a bag of men's clothes in the bushes under my bedroom window. The hounds were raised cane that night, and I mowed the lawn and raked the leaves that afternoon-then the hounds started bawling and raising cane when it got dark. the cops said the guy probably peed his pants, when he went to check out a window and saw those 2 flopped-eared heads and those big fangs.

Great story about your dogs protecting you. Hounds are in real need in the states you mentioned. It is really disgusting how little time dogs and cats are given at certain shelters before they are euthed.
