this has been very informative for me. We just bought a doberman puppy and she is surprisingly smart and easy to train. My question is she has a small white patch on her chest, is that a common occurence among dobbies, all of her other markings are those of a purebread doberman. I have not seen any photos of dobbies with whithe on them, I hope someone can answer my question. Thanks 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I have a the most beautiful, awesome Blue Doberman. I am so in love with him! He is the most perfect dog I've ever had. He is starting to lose a lot of his hair, especially on his back. Our vet said that the hair loss was a genetic disoder, so I started reading up on Blue Dobermans and found out that she is correct. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how we could slow the hair loss down? I've read that a protien rich diet is good for this, so we've started adding an egg to his morning feeding each day. We've been doing this for two weeks so far and we're not seeing any improvement yet. I'm hoping you have some good advice! Do you find this valuable?
