What a jerky site."I'm sorry that no one has gotten back to you yet, but I think that the way you express that is very inappropriate to use on this site. I as well as many other members would like for you please to use different language, and express what you are trying to say in a more appropriate way for a dog lover's website. Thank you! You can add your pictures by clicking the 'EasyEdit' button at the top of the page, click 'Image', and upload your pics from there. Hope this helps! :) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm sorry that I missed your question. I don't know when you first posted the question, but the moderators try to answer and help people. They just changed the format to categories, and I find it more difficult to check new threads. I'm also getting over the flu. I was pretty sick this week. I just started walking the hounds this Thurs. I click on browse, when the image box opens. That way I can go into my own computer and access my photo gallery. It's small and images that are already in the photo gallery. There are several ways to share your pics-on your profile-creating a personal page-to do that look at the box on the left side of your first post. Under that box, it has a "Add a New Page" app. Then we have the tab for the Photo Gallery and it has room for text. My favorite is a tab in photo gallery-ALBUMS- There you can share your pics in an album that has a slide show. Unlike FaceBook, etc. anything you post is public-it's a great way to make friends- I hope that you enjoy this site-Again-I do apologise for missing your question.

I do NOT see where you have asked for assistance other than this post unless I'm blind. Being rude and insulting is NOT the way to win friends and influence people. I would suggest you check the attitude at the door. There are alot of great people on here and alot great resources too that can help you with your pet. There are quite a few Moderators who are gladly willing to help new members and guide and welcome them to this site.. understand that we are also volunteer Mods which means any number of us could be either here or somewhere else. Chiweernershnitzel answered your question of how to upload pictures. If you need further help please do not hesistate to contact any of us. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm sorry but we don't design it or create the apps. This is part of WetPaint Central. It's like a Ning site, MySpace.com, Twitter and the many other sites where you join and create a page. WetPaint has this for interest groups to get together and post pics-for a member make an individual page or a page about the subject. Unfortunately, the techs design for the people with the money and to get money, they have to have lots of sites and the sites have to have lots of members. Also the design is driven by TV program fan sites. CBS, USA, NBC bring the money in and the WPC designers work to make them happy. I get used to a format-and WPC changes it. The changes make the fan sites better-sometimes they really bomb. If you like to talk about dogs-you'll learn to live with it. If you like a TV show-go to Yahoo.com enter the name of your show-then you can find a wetpaint fansite. The last ime I looked-the WPC pages has a really bad search engine and people complain to them all of the time about the lousy search engine. Thanks for staying around- Remember-nothing is perfect and everythng has it's bumps and pot holes- This is a good place to talk about dogs-and it's nicer than MySpace or FaceBook, because you can ask a question about dogs and lots of people will see the question and maybe be able to answer you. Remember this is open to the public-so never post anything that might embarrass you. Anytime you have a specific question, you can always ask and one of the moderators will try to help you. Sometimes I think that my PC isn't working and it turns out to be ning or the program. I've had problems and asked for help-only what they said didn't work-now WetPaint is okay with Vista, but a few years ago things just didn't work the way the WPC administrators said it would. They'd get mad at me. Then other people with Vista would tell the admins they had the same problems that I was having. The admins apologised to me and worked on the problems. I had my friends listed by when they became a friend-I didn't put any notations on friends-as sometimes what means something to me looks bad to other people. I could never be sure who would be able to read my notes about friends. I knew that one of my first friends was a working mother, but they re-arranged everything alphabetically which means nothing to me. Then in the last change they deleted my old messages-so I couldn't look somebody up for a problem and ask them how they were doing. I'd start a new message with a subject: hi, how are you doing?. Then for the message I'd ask about their dog by name etc. Well the incoming messages were usually labeled "Hi, how are you doing?' but they'd leave out my message and say that we're getting along fine-how R your dogs doing? I was a high school math teacher-so my notations on friends would be weird-besides multi-lingual- All of the people on WP sites have different types of computers, operating systems, back grounds, and ways of thinking. So what's clear to one person is read differently by another person or PC. The great thing is that there are different ways to talk to each other here and we can ask a question or make a statement and everybody can read it and give different opinions. we might not like the opinions, but we still can see what other people think. This new system of catagories makes it more difficult for me to read new threads and posts.
